Face Project
For this project we had to take a photo of someone, in this case it is Ashley.
We had to take a portrait and a side shot of the person you were working with, we photo shopped
them alittle and they turned into this. If you look really hard and for a longer period of time you can see to faces.
BackLit Project
For this project we had to take 3 photos that is back lit by
the sun. All 3 of the images has Courtney in them. The top one my favorite because of how the lighting is and how bright it it. It is a little tricky to take images like these cause the sun needs to be in the right place.
10 Self Portraits
For this project we had to take 10 self portraits, but they just couldn't be regular self portraits you
had to be creative and put your self out there.
!!Here are a few examples!!
This photo I have chosen is my favorite.
The reason it's my favorite is because the contrast in the grass and my face bolds the image. For me to get this the image like this is; I put the camera in 10 second time mode because i was my self, then I tilted it on an angle. After I got the shot I photo shopped it just a little.
This image is of me but also of my friend Courtnay.
I took this photo by just facing the camera to my ipod and I just took a picture of the refection.
I like this photo cause it is really unique and not everyone dose stuff like this. My favorite part of this image is how half of my face is on ipod and half of Courtnay's face is behind it, its almost like we were trying to put our faces together.
This image of me is in the reflection of a water fountain.
Last year I took a photo like this, but I find that this one is more creative because its shows who I am. I took me a few shots to get it like this; but this isn't just from taking a photo I also photo shopped it so the back it blurred, and it the fosit part it looks like it's popping out.
Impossible Photography
For out Impossible Photography project we are basing our ideas and ways from Erik Johansson.
Erik Johansson is a full time photographer from Berlin, Germany. Johansson also is a retoucher, he works on commissioned and personal projects and sometimes like to create street illusions. Erik Johansson doesn't capture moments he likes to capture and make ideas. For Erik to realize ideas in his mind he collects material, thats why he likes photography. The way to his inspiration is seeing his daily life and his surroundings
These are my 3 favorites of Erik Johansson's photos
This is one of the 3 images I chose. I really like this photo because you can look at it two different ways and see two different ways, You see the bad on the ceiling or the second floor and then you see the other bed on the floor. The reason I chose this image is due to the fact its not just a regular photo you see everyday, it different. The reason I chose this image is because I can relate to it and I love the detail. The way I relate to this image is be another artistic perspective, I am a painter and when I see images like this it just speaks to me more then others. The detail in this so good: The paints and the paint box on the ground, the islands and trees in the background, and greyish back sky.
This image tells a story. It might be a different story to different people but it tell a story, that is one of the reason I chose this photo. My favorite part to this photo is the boy pouring out the water and the boats, as they float away. Also the detail in this image is so cool; the boats, the sun coming out of the frame and in the back the leaning mountain.
All these three photos are so cool and I can't wait till I can do my own!
!Here is mine!
For this project we had to Create a Vibrant Conceptual Photo and manipulate it.
So what I did is I took a photo of one of my teachers and the cropped and photoshopped it so I just had his face and head, then I went and found an image of a very fluffy tree and made it his hair. After I did that I found pictures of butterflies for fun.
Retouch and Bland Project
For this project we had to take 3 photos of people and photoshop there face to take off the blemishes and such. Here is my best example.
This is Nadia. I took a picture of Nadia's face, then I had to put it in photoshop and take photoshop all here blemishes, fix her eye brows, and add fake make-up. I hope you like it.
Infrared Photography
For this project we had to take and photoshop 3 unified photos, and they had to end up infrared.
How we created infrared photos is you put them in photoshop and can either make a black and white or coloured one, I did both.
Here are my 3 infrared photo's
This is one of my 3 infrared photo's, it is also my favorite one.
How we created is we put them in photoshop and made two layers, blurred them and adjusted the colour and contrast.
I love the colour and contrast in this picture and how your eyes focuses on the trees and then the houses.
This is my 3rd image and I love it!! The purply pink sky and the yellowy green trees.
All these images were done it similar steps, and ended up different. That is why I like infrared photography.
Bokeh
For this project, we had to create bokeh photo's in three different categories: Just lights, Lights and object in focus and person in focus. For people that don't know what bokeh photo's are, they are a photo that use use lights in the back ground and make them out of focus, and when you but a person or object in a bokeh photo they have to be in focus.
Here are my examples...
These two Bokeh's are of a person in focus and the background blurred.
Pick-A-Something
For this project we had to take 6 photos that go together for example taking photos of green things or triangles, the photos have to follow a theme.
So I chose traffic signs.
Crosswalk Sign
This Sign is of a crosswalk sign, its kinda boring but it also kinda stands out.
Detour Sign
This is a detour sign. The color of the sign and the blurred background makes it stands
out more.
Disabled Sign
This is a disabled sign, I really like this one because of the contrast and the
angle I took it on. It isn't just a sign its more exiting then that.
Fire Land Sign
This is a fire lane sign, again not the most exiting photo on here.
Staff Only Sign
This is a staff only parking sign, it is one of my favorites because of background and
how the sign looks older.
Stop Sign
This a stop sign, also one of my favorites because its just different and
stands out.
